Susan Strout Flanigan

Susan Flanigan is an associate with Thienel Law who brings over 15 years of experience in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, corporate and family law. Susan has prepared wills, trusts, powers of attorney, estate filings, incorporations, partnership agreements, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements and QDROs. She has also prepared divorce, guardianship and child support pleadings. Susan joined Thienel Law in 2011.

Prior to joining Thienel Law, Susan worked to develop external programs at Roland Park School for four years. Susan is the 1st Vice President of the Women’s Club of Roland Park in charge of developing weekly programs. She is an avid reader and is involved with several book clubs. Susan is married with two adult children, and a golden retriever named Tucker.

Susan graduated from Hollins University where she received the Elizabeth Chance Award for excellence in Economics and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and is admitted to the U.S. District Court and the Court of Appeals in Maryland.
